The “SimX LKW & BUS” driving simulator gives you a realistic driving experience. With an original steering wheel, a digital instrument panel, multifunction levers and pedals, you feel like you are at the wheel of a real vehicle.
The adjustable driver's seat ensures maximum comfort, while the large viewing system provides complete immersion in the virtual world. Transporting the driving position is simple and uncomplicated. Maneuvering

The special “Eco Driving” software provides the driving instructor with important information on gear selection, engine operating point, gear changes, engine speed, speed and fuel consumption using shell and time diagrams. At the end of the journey, the instructor can evaluate performance using an eco-indicator and analyze it step by step with the trainee in replay mode. Various load conditions can be simulated in order to test fuel consumption under realistic conditions.

The flow of traffic in the city, on freeways and in rural areas is unpredictable and requires a high level of concentration and an anticipatory driving style in order to recognize and master dangerous situations. With the hazard perception software, drivers can dicey situations without actually putting themselves in danger. After the journey, the instructor has the option of watching the sequences again in replay mode and freezing key moments. This allows the trainee to recognize where they should have reacted and how they could have recognized an imminent danger, for example by monitoring the rear-view mirrors. Analysis diagrams also show brake pressure and braking time and compliance with the correct braking and coupling sequence. This raises awareness of potential hazards and encourages drivers to drive with foresight and caution from the outset.

Training for Real-Life Scenarios
Emergency driving by fire departments and rescue services places special demands on drivers that cannot be compared with those of normal road traffic. The “Emergency Driving” program offers a variety of different scenarios in which the driver has to manoeuvre through a junction in moderate to heavy traffic and at a red light, for example. Forming a rescue lane to ensure that the emergency services can get through in an emergency also has its pitfalls. In the city, there is also the risk of cars braking unexpectedly, roads becoming congested or pedestrians suddenly stepping out onto the road. It is important to overcome all obstacles while keeping an eye on the time factor, which plays a major role in emergency operations. In the simulator, firefighters or rescue workers can learn to assess critical situations quickly and correctly and to act tactically in order to arrive at the scene quickly but safely. Using realistic scenarios, drivers can improve their skills and thus help more effectively in an emergency.

Das Steuerpult für den Fahrsimulator ist ein leistungsstarkes Werkzeug für Ausbilder, um das Verhalten
ihrer Schüler zu beobachten und zu verbessern. Es besteht aus einem Desktop-PC mit zwei großen
24“-Monitoren und ist mit spezieller Software ausgestattet, die es dem Ausbilder ermöglicht, die
Aktionen des Schülers zu verfolgen, Perspektiven zu ändern und Replays zu betrachten. Zusätzlich
kann der Ausbilder Ereignisse auslösen und Sequenzen aufzeichnen. Das Steuerpult bietet auch
Verwaltungsfunktionen, die es ermöglichen, Daten der Fahrer, ihre Ergebnisse und Replay-Daten zu
speichern und zu archivieren. Es ist sogar möglich, mehrere Simulatoren mit einem Ausbilder zu
steuern, indem eine Variante mit drei Monitoren verwendet wird. Für den Transport ist auch eine
Notebook-Version mit einem 17“-Display verfügbar
Motion System
Diese spezielle Kamera kann optional erworben werden
und wird auf dem mittleren Monitor des Simulators
montiert. Sie ermöglicht es, die Kopfposition des Fahrers
zu überprüfen, um sicherzustellen, dass er in
Seitenstraßen einsehen und den Schulterblick ausführen
kann. Falls der Fahrer diese Aktionen nicht ausführt,
generiert der Simulator entsprechende Fehlermeldungen
und zeigt das aufgezeichnete Bild des Fahrers im Replay
oder auf dem optional erhältlichen Steuerpult an.

Eine optionale Telligent Schaltung kann dem Simulator
hinzugefügt werden. Diese Halbautomatikschaltung kann
sowohl im Automatikmodus als auch mit Kupplungspedal
betrieben werden.

Der Simulator ist vielseitig einsetzbar und kann auch als Pkw-Simulator genutzt werden.
Hierfür stehen verschiedene Softwaremodule zur Verfügung, die näher in den
entsprechenden Prospekten beschrieben werden. Darüber hinaus besteht die Möglichkeit,
die Automatikgangschaltung durch eine H-Gang Schaltung mit 7 Gängen zu erweitern.
